Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! A little about me… I am very devoted to educating, guiding, and supporting therapists, both new and seasoned. After more than a decade of supervising and educating therapists, I've found that this part of my career consistently ignites my passion within the field of counseling. Since starting my career, I have focused my practice primarily on specializing in Child, Youth, and Family Therapy with a sub-specialty in neurodiversity, however, my experience also includes work with adults, couples, and groups.

My Credentials Include:

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University (GFU)

  • Licensed with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists [OBLPT] (LMFT)

  • Licensed with the Washington State Department of Health (LMFT)

  • Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™ (RPT-S™) through the Association for Play Therapy

  • American Association for Marriage & Family Therapists (AAMFT)/OBLPCT/WA Approved Supervisor

  • EMDRIA Approved EMDR Therapist

  • Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist

  • Certified in Foster and Adoptive Family Therapy

  • Certified in Trauma-Focused CBT

  • Certified Instructor: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention

  • Trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy [PCIT] (Certification Pending)

  • APT Approved Provider #25-761

I began teaching in 2011 in the graduate counseling program at GFU and in 2020 at the University of Western States. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Association for Play Therapy (ORAPT) in some capacity over the past 13 years, holding multiple positions within the board, including President over two separate terms. I am a trained handler through Pet Partners and have trained and certified one therapy dog, which I used in my practice for over 8 years. I am currently training to certify another therapy dog, a Golden-doodle named Juniper, as I am a firm believer in the healing power of Animal Assisted Therapy!

I currently serve as the Mental Health Therapy Director for a local non-profit organization, providing outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, families, parents, adults and couples, specializing in neurodivergence and disabilities.

I have a passion for teaching and supporting therapists, both seasoned and new, through providing individual and group clinical supervision and consultation, play therapy supervision and consultation for clinicians working toward their RPT™/RPT-S™ credentials, and supervision of supervision (supervision mentoring) for those seeking their supervisor credentials (through AAMFT and OBLPCT). I offer self-care consultation for clinicians interested in improving their work-life balance. Lastly, I am available to provide workshops exploring play therapy foundations and intervention, skills and methods, and special topics; child and adolescent mental health; trauma-informed care; parenting skills development; and stress management for mental health professionals. I am open to tailoring professional development training to your needs- just reach out and ask!
