Hi, I’m Jamie, and I'm really glad you're here! Here's a little about me: I’m a therapist, educator, supervisor, consultant, and play therapy enthusiast who’s passionate about helping other clinicians grow with confidence and support (and maybe a few laughs along the way).
After more than a decade of supervising and teaching therapists, I can honestly say that this is the part of my work that gets me the most excited. I love helping both new and seasoned clinicians deepen their skills, expand their confidence, and feel more grounded in this incredibly meaningful (and sometimes overwhelming) field.
My clinical roots are in child, youth, and family therapy, with a strong specialization in neurodivergence and developmental differences. I’ve also worked with adults, couples, and groups, and I bring that broad perspective to everything I teach and consult on.

APT Approved Provider #25-761
Since 2011, I have had the joy of teaching in the graduate counseling programs at George Fox University and the University of Western States. I’ve also served on the Oregon Association for Play Therapy (ORAPT) Board for over a decade, including two terms as President.

I’m a trained handler through Pet Partners and have spent over 8 years providing animal-assisted therapy with my first therapy dog. I’m currently training my goldendoodle, Juniper, to become certified because, yes, I fully believe in the healing power of animals (and also because she’s adorable).

What I Offer:
For nearly a decade, I served as the Mental Health Therapy Director at a nonprofit organization that provided outpatient therapy for children, teens, families, and adults, with a focus on neurodivergence and disability-informed care. I currently serve as the Clinical Operations Director and Co-Founder of Wild Peloria, where I work with the same population and provide supervision, consultation, and training to professionals in the field.

Beyond that, I support therapists and group practices through:
-
Clinical supervision & consultation (individual + group)
-
Play therapy supervision and consultation for RPT™ candidates
-
Supervision mentoring for those pursuing their supervisor credentials (including AAMFT)
-
Self-care consultation to help clinicians avoid burnout and reconnect with their purpose
-
Trainings and workshops on play therapy, trauma-informed care, parenting, child & adolescent mental health, stress management, and more
And yes- I LOVE customizing trainings to meet your needs. Just reach out and ask!
